Hi Yana, thank you for raising awareness on this issue. I have experienced similar corporal punishments as a student especially in primary and middle school. Unfortunately, it is still practiced in some schools in Romania, although I did notice some improvements in the way millennial teachers deal with punishments. I truly hope teachers nowadays have more awareness and can see the harmful impact it can have on children.
